While Democrats plow forward with their partisan attempt to impeach President Trump, the latest economic report confirmed the strength of the American economy.

CNN: Amid signs that the global economy is slowing, America’s labor market nonetheless remains strong. In September, the unemployment rate fell to 3.5%, the lowest rate since December 1969, as employers added 136,000 jobs to the US economy.

In addition, the unemployment rates among Hispanic and black Americans remained at record lows, and the rate for adults with less than a high school education dropped beneath 5% for the first time in decades.

The economy has shown consistent growth since Republicans passed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. At the time, Nancy Pelosi denounced the legislation as “Armageddon.”
