UN: Iran’s Missile Launches “Not Consistent With The Constructive Spirit” Of Nuclear Deal

Reuters reports that Secretary-General of the United Nations  said in a confidential report that Iran’s ballistic missile launches “are not consistent with the constructive spirit” of the 2015 Nuclear Deal

July 8, 2016

Yesterday, Reuters reported that Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon said in a confidential report that Iran’s ballistic missile launches “are not consistent with the constructive spirit” of the Nuclear Deal signed in 2015. Iran has frequently violated thisdisastrous deal, proving that the régime can’t be trusted and the agreement should never have been made in the first place.

The ballistic missile launches don’t just violate the terms of the faulty deal; they also place our strongest allies like Israel in grave danger and threaten more instability on the Middle East.

While the UN is reluctant to plainly state that Iran has clearly violated the Nuclear Deal, Americans can recognize the truth. The Deal hasenabled Iran to further their nuclear ambitions, while continuing to degrade America. The so-called signature achievement of the Obama Administration’s foreign policy is under intense scrutiny following the repeated violations from Iran.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, except for the deeply naïve Obama Administration, who were so desperate to make flawed deal in exchange for establishing a political legacy. The only way to stop Iran’s dangerous ambitions is to tear up the Administration’s deal and immediately re-instate the much-needed sanctions on this notorious state sponsor of terrorism.
