Individuals employed by small businesses are seeing their hourly wages grow according to a recent report:
“Hourly earnings in April increased at an annual rate of 3.25 percent, the best showing since 2016. Wages of $26.56 per hour last month were up 2.69 percent, or 70 cents, from a year ago.”
Despite this evidence, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi continues to claim that wages are stagnant:
Democrats are grasping at straws to try to downplay the positive economic conditions ahead of the 2018 midterms. Unfortunately for them, the facts are not on their side.
