Progressives Pounce on Schumer
Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is taking heat from the base of the Democratic party over the Kavanaugh hearings:
“’The Democratic Party’s progressive base expects nothing less than all-out resistance to Trump’s dangerous agenda,’ the groups wrote in a Wednesday letter to Schumer. ‘They know that anything less than 49 Democratic votes against Kavanaugh would be a massive failure of your leadership.’”
The progressive wing of the party is so angry that they are calling on Democrats who sit on the Judiciary committee to break Senate rules and leak confidential documents to the public.
Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court has the far-left completely unhinged and they are willing to fracture their own party in order to prove their commitment to the #resistance.
