Joe Biden: Voters Don’t Deserve to Know My Position on Court Packing

The Biden-Harris ticket’s evasiveness on the court packing issue is a slap in the face to every American hoping to make an informed decision in November.

Joe Biden has refused to state his position on packing the Supreme Court for weeks, recently going as far as saying voters would have to wait until after the election to know if he plans to do so. This morning, a KNTV reporter noted the court packing question was the “number one thing” he had been asked about by viewers – and asked Biden to state his position yet again.

KNTV Reporter: “Sir, don’t the voters deserve to know?”

Joe Biden: “No, they don’t deserve to know.”

In the interview Biden also claimed – without evidence – that the people interested in knowing his position on court packing were “probably Republicans” before deflecting to the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett.

Kamala Harris also notably dodged the court packing question earlier this week during her debate with Vice President Mike Pence, who pressed her repeatedly on it.

Bottom line: The Biden-Harris ticket’s evasiveness on the court packing issue is a slap in the face to every American hoping to make an informed decision in November. Joe Biden’s refusal to answer this question is further evidence that the radical elements within his party are calling the shots.
