Obama Administration seeks to appease Iran as Nuclear Deal allows them to do business with companies like Boeing and Airbus

“Death To America” Chants Grow Louder As Obama Seeks An Even Cozier Relationship With Iran
President Obama and his administration are taking unprecedented steps to solidify his disastrous foreign policy “achievement,” the nuclear agreement with the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, Iran. By allowing companies to conduct business with the terrorist state, it will be harder for subsequent administrations to undo the damage his failed Iran policy has wrought.
It was reported earlier today that the Boeing Company had proposed a deal to sell aircraft to Iran Air. The potential value of the deal is estimated at $17.6 billion from the sell of 80 planes the leasing of 29 737 aircraft. Airbus, another aircraft manufacturer had already signed a deal with Iran Air to sell more than 100 aircraft. As part of Obama’s flawed Iran deal, the terrorist state was granted the ability to update the airline’s commercial fleet. Concerns are now being raised about the new aircraft will be used. In a June 16 letter to Boeing, Congressmen Peter Roskam (R-IL) and Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) requested additional assurances from the company that the planes would not be used for military purposes, noting how Iran Air had been sanctioned for transporting military equipment.
The congressmen, citing the United States’ designation of Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism, and what they described as Iran’s systematic use of its commercial aircraft to aid “hostile actors around the world,” requested that Boeing explain how the company would prevent Iranian use of Boeing planes for such purposes.
Their letter also pointed out that five years ago, Iran Air had been sanctioned by the United States for transporting military equipment on behalf of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and Iran’s Defense Ministry. While the sanctions designation against Iran Air was later dropped, the congressmen wrote, “there is no reason to believe the company has ceased its malicious activity.”
According to The Wall Street Journal, Obama is strongly considering to publicly support Iran’s bid to join the World Trade Organization (WTO). If Obama supports Iran’s bid to join the WTO, it will strain our relations with allies like Saudi Arabia, Iran’s bitter enemy and other countries who vociferously oppose the bid. Further straining the country’s relationship with our middle eastern allies is the Obama administration’s intention to further integrate Iran into the global economy.
U.S. officials are also exploring what they say are other ways of integrating Iran into the global economy, with more announcements expected in the months before Mr. Obama leaves office in January. Among them is a process for giving Iran limited access to the U.S. dollar, which administration officials said has made some progress.
Obama purposefully manufactured the presentation of the Iran deal to persuade Americans to support the deal however, they remain highly skeptical according to polling. In a recent Gallup poll, 7 of 10 Americans continue to disapprove of the deal and three quarters of Americans agree that Iran’s likely development of nuclear weapons continues to be a “critical threat.” Further adding to the distrust for the Obama’s Iran deal is that Obama’s own Secretary of State, John Kerry said the easing of sanctions on Iran will benefit terrorists.
JOHN KERRY: “I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists. You know, to some degree, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that could be prevented, but I can tell you this, right now, we are not seeing the early delivery of funds going to that kind of endeavor at this point in time. I’m sure at some point some of it will. But that has never made the difference of what is happening there. Let me give you an example. The Saudis alone spend $80 billion a year on defense. The entire gulf state community spends $130 billion a year on defense. Iran spends $15 billion a year on its military activities. So, it’s so incredibly disproportionate that I believe that working with our gulf state partners, which we are going to do and which we are upgrading, we have the ability to guarantee that they will be secure, that we will stand by them even as we look for this potential of a shift in behavior.”
Obama’s deal with Iran has threatened our national security and the security of our allies in the middle east. It is time to scrap the deal and treat Iran as our enemy who vows “Death to America.”
