Economic outlook among manufacturers is reaching record highs per a new survey by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). Over 93% of manufacturers have a positive outlook in today’s economy, with small manufacturers even more optimistic at 94.5%.
Recently-passed tax reform has been crucial to this increased economic outlook. NAM president Jay Timmons was quick to credit the legislative achievement for producing these staggering results:
“Empowered by tax reform and regulatory relief, manufacturers are now investing in our people through new jobs, higher wages, bonuses and growing our operations right here in the United States.”
