Democrat Senator Continues To Cater To Donors W/ Phony Complaint
Sheldon Whitehouse’s hypocrisy and ability to curry favor to the donors that pour money into his campaigns knows no bounds. That still is not stopping him from carrying water for the environmentalist left and filing a complaint against EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt.
The problem…the complaint has no basis in fact and runs counter to everything that Administrator Pruitt did to satisfy the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee during his confirmation hearing. NTK Network has the full story:
Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) is partnering with a liberal 501(c)(3) group to file a bogus complaint against Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt.
The complaint, which was filed by the Center for Biological Diversity, alleges that Pruitt was not forthcoming during his Senate confirmation hearing in front of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. The complaint aims to get Pruitt disbarred.
The claim that Pruitt was not forthcoming is outrageous considering Pruitt answered 1,200 questions during the hearing and in written testimony, which are the most questions ever answered by an EPA nominee.
How Sen. Whitehouse could even claim that Administrator Pruitt was not forthcoming, despite answering a record number of questions and disclosing all his emails is ridiculous. It also shows that Sen. Whitehouse will not let the truth get in the way of him trying to help his extremist allies on the environmentalist left.
