McCaskill In Hot Water For WOTUS Hypocrisy
For her entire career, Claire McCaskill has put herself and her liberal agenda above serving her constituents. But when an election cycle rolls around, she does her best to distance herself from Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer to appear more moderate in the eyes of Missourians.
That’s why it wasn’t a shock to see her praise the smart decision by EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt to roll back the disastrous Waters Of The United States (WOTUS) rule that was crippling farmers across the country.
McCaskill knows that Missourians were opposed to this unnecessary and burdensome government regulation which is why she commended Administrator Pruitt’s decision, despite voting against his confirmation in February. However, in the past Sen. McCaskill did what she typically does; stand with her liberal allies and against the best interests of Missouri.
On THREE SEPARATE OCCASSIONS, twice in November 2015 and once in January 2016, McCaskill voted against legislation that had the potential to weaken the awful WOTUS rule:
