During today’s White House press briefing, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt pointed out that staunch environmentalists, including the so-called “father of climate change awareness,” James Hansen, criticized the Paris Accord when it was initially signed.
In 2015, Hansen did not pull any punches when discussing the climate deal, calling it “a fraud,” “worthless words,” and “bulls***.”
By making this point, Pruitt is providing evidence for the claim that the Paris Agreement was flawed from the beginning and the Administration is doing the right thing by withdrawing from this disastrous deal that would only disadvantage the United States.
