McCaskill Spends Serious Cash To Send Colleagues To Cancun
Consummate D.C.-Insider Claire McCaskill must think it’s more important to keep her fellow Senators happy than it is to look out for Missourians she claims to be representing.
How else can she explain shelling out more than $15,000 of her own money to send her liberal friends Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) to Cancun in February 2016, as Politico reported this afternoon.

What’s even more egregious is that she spent this money to benefit her elitist friends while at the same time voting to increase health care costs and other out-of-pocket expenses for families across Missouri.
McCaskill clearly has lost touch with the Show-Me State and this revelation proves that she cares far more about appeasing her D.C. colleagues than working to help her constituents achieve more financial stability.
