Today, Governor Eric Greitens signed Right-To-Work legislation into law, making Missouri the 28th state in the nation to adopt this important legislation.

Missouri Rising’s Executive Director Brian Rogers released the following statement:

“Today’s bill signing affirms that under Governor Greitens, Missouri is officially open for business, advancing freedom and opportunity for all workers in the state.

Governor Greitens and leaders in the legislature deserve great credit for moving aggressively to enact the agenda they ran on, improving the economic competitiveness of the state with its neighbors across the Midwest.

“This is an important step for Missouri, but it’s just the beginning of the fight to get big government and big labor out of the way of job creation and economic growth. Missouri Rising looks forward to taking an active role in the fight to advance worker freedom and economic opportunity in the Show Me State over the coming weeks and months.”

Last week, Missouri Rising launched a digital ad campaign that thanked key legislative leaders who played crucial roles in fighting to pass this legislation.
