Warren Ally Lights Her Up: “I Am Getting Tired Of This Act,” “It’s Getting Exhausting,” “Almost Unhinged”
MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski has long been Elizabeth Warren’s number one fan, calling her “the best ever,” in 2012 and proclaiming that she should be Hillary Clinton’s VP this past year.
But this relationship seems to have hit a rough patch as of late. A week and a half ago, Brzezinski criticized Warren for not accepting the results of the election, and this morning, she laid into her in unprecedented terms, saying that she is “getting tired of this act,” claiming that Warren’s daily rants are “getting exhausting” and that the Massachusetts Senator is “almost unhinged.”
While Brzezinski’s criticism was unrestrained, Joe Scarborough and Mike Barnicle didn’t pull any punches either. Barnicle, a fellow Massachusetts liberal, noted that Warren’s antics have the potential to divide liberals the Senate, while Scarborough argued that Warren’s outspokenness makes her the “de facto head of the Democratic Party.”
