The Judicial Crisis Network is putting pressure on Michigan Democrat Senators Stabenow and Peters to support the nomination of Michigan Supreme Court Justice Joan Larsen to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

It is important to also note, Senator Stabenow voted for 99 percent of President Obama’s judicial nominees and Senator Peters voted for 100 percent of Obama’s judicial nominees. These red-state Democrats were eager to give deference to the executive branch on judicial nominations under President Obama, and they should do so again now under President Trump. Stabenow and Peters should put partisanship aside and support the nomination of the highly-qualified Joan Larsen to the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
