Yesterday, America Rising Squared deployed our nationwide tracking network to monitor what really happened at more than 30 protests held across the country in the labor union-backed “Fight for $15” campaign’s “Global Day of Action.” While big labor wants people to believe that this is a “grassroots movement” in favor of higher wages, our cameras captured the real story yesterday.

For example, in Austin, Texas, a group of FF15 protesters stormed a Taco Bell and were promptly accosted by an employee who accused them of disrupting her work and asked them to leave. It was a powerful moment caught by AR2’s trackers, pitting a hard-working Taco Bell employee trying to do her job against protesters engaged in political theater:

In Chicago, we captured a Loyola University professor (not a typo) joining up with protesters to complain about her salary outside a McDonald’s location. Just when our trackers thought they’d seen everything, you get a university professor complaining about her salary:

In Phoenix, all it took was for a reporter to ask a FF15 protester how a $15 minimum wage hike might impact other jobs for it to become very clear that the protester had no basic understanding about how the economy functions:
