Following last night’s debate, vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine appeared on CNN and was pressed on Hillary Clinton’s false claim that her plan would not add a penny to the national debt.

Kaine’s artful dodge is not surprising given that the Committee For A Responsible Budget found that his running mate’s plan would in fact add $250 billion to the national debt over ten years.

Additionally, the same committee reviewed the Clinton plan and concluded that she would increase federal spending by $1.4 trillion, making government bigger and more bloated. On top of that, her plans call for a tax increases totaling $1.2 trillion, taking even more money from the private sector and hard-working families in order to fund government programs.
